Woman holding I-beamThe Century Community Training Program (CCTP) in Lennox, California, is an eight-week pre-apprenticeship construction training and employment services program offered at no cost to men and women transitioning from unemployment, welfare, low-income jobs, or incarceration. CCTP has instructed more than 2,200 trainees and has placed more than 1,600 graduates in construction trades.

Orientations are EVERY Tuesday at 8:00AM, except holidays. Classes start the first Monday of every month and a trainee must attend the orientation before being eligible for enrollment.

Trainees practicing basic framingIn June 2007, CCTP received a $539,000 employment training contract from the State of California Employment Training Panel. The State’s contract program, which is funded by the Employment Training Tax paid by California employers, has provided more than $1 billion to train more than 660,000 workers in California.
